Make Your Own Vanilla Bean Paste

Gather Your Ingredients

Beans, 1 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water, 1 tbsp corn syrup

Split and Scrape Beans

Extract the seeds for flavor

Chop the Pods

Use the whole bean

Combine in a Saucepan

Mix everything together

Simmer Until Dissolved

Stir for 5 minutes

Blend Until Smooth

Process for 1-2 minutes

Strain for Smoothness

Optional: remove pod pieces

Store in a Jar

Refrigerate up to 6 months
