Sam Haft, singer and songwriter for The Living Tombstone, can’t believe how well the band’s first nationwide tour is going.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, Haft shared that he was worried about whether people would come to see them perform, even though his bandmate Yoav Landau was confident they’d have a good turnout. “I was in disbelief,” Haft said.

The band, known for its electronic rock sound, started with three small shows in Southern California in October 2023 to test if fans would show up. When those shows sold out, they decided to plan a bigger tour.

Their current tour has taken them across North America, and almost all of the shows have sold out. They’ll wrap up with four more concerts in November in cities like Montreal and Toronto.

While the tour has been a success, fans will have to wait a little longer for The Living Tombstone’s second album, Rust. The album, which was originally set for release in 2024, has been pushed to early 2025 because the band wants to take their time and make sure it’s perfect.

Unlike their first album, Zero_One, which was about personal growth, Rust will focus on challenges outside of our control.

The Living Tombstone gained popularity by creating music inspired by video games, including their hit 2014 song based on Five Nights at Freddy’s. That song was even included in the 2023 movie adaptation of the game.

Sam Haft is also busy working on other projects, including writing music for the web series Helluva Boss and the animated show Hazbin Hotel. Through these experiences, Haft has learned to enjoy being creative without worrying about what others think.

The Living Tombstone’s tour will end in November, and fans can look forward to new music in early 2025.
