Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce Celebrate Patrick Mahomes’ Birthday After Chiefs Game

Taylor Swift and her fiancé Travis Kelce kept the celebrations going in Kansas City after the Chiefs’ first home game of the season, stepping out to party with Patrick Mahomes for his 29th birthday.
The couple was spotted in a group photo shared by country star Kane Brown on Instagram Monday, Sept. 15. The snap featured Brown and his wife Katelyn Jae posing alongside Swift, Kelce, Mahomes, and Brittany Mahomes. Brown captioned the post: “Happy birthday Pat & congrats TT❤️ thanks for hosting us Britt 🙏🏽.”
Swift, 35, showed off her signature chic style in a taupe and brown plaid two-piece set by Simkhai — a mini skirt and vest combo — paired with Gucci platform pumps and a Chanel beaded necklace. Kelce, also 35, opted for a sharp look, wearing a white dress shirt with navy Thom Browne suit shorts and black dress shoes.
The birthday party came just one day after Swift attended the Chiefs’ highly anticipated home game against the Philadelphia Eagles — a Super Bowl rematch that ended in disappointment for Kansas City, with the Eagles pulling out a 20–17 win. The Chiefs are now 0-2 this season after an earlier loss to the L.A. Chargers in São Paulo on Sept. 5.
Swift and Kelce have been making plenty of headlines off the field, too. The pair announced their engagement on Aug. 26 with a joint Instagram post, playfully captioned: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨.” Swift even soundtracked the post with her 2024 hit “So High School,” a fan-favorite long believed to be about Kelce.
The celebration also comes ahead of another big moment in Swift’s career. On Aug. 12, the pop superstar revealed that her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, will be released on Oct. 3. She made the announcement during Kelce and Jason Kelce’s New Heights podcast, proving that her personal and professional worlds are colliding in the most exciting ways.
With football season back in full swing and a new album on the horizon, it looks like Swift and Kelce’s fall calendar is jam-packed — both on and off the field.
