Taylor Swift has been showered with appreciation after completing her record-breaking eight shows at London’s Wembley Stadium as part of her Eras Tour.

On Friday, August 23, Wembley Stadium presented Swift with a unique blue and black guitar to celebrate her achievement. The guitar was displayed in front of the stadium’s iconic archway, featuring a message reading “So Long, Taylor,” referencing her unreleased track “So Long, London.” Another message on the opposite side read, “It’s been a Wembley Love Story,” nodding to her popular 2008 track.

Wembley Stadium shared the moment on social media, saying, “We couldn’t let Taylor leave London without saying a massive thank you.” Along with the guitar, Swift received personalized guitar picks and a note from the stadium team. The special gift has since been shipped to her home in Nashville, Tennessee.

A Wembley spokesperson expressed their joy at hosting the shows, stating, “The Eras Tour is set to be one of the all-time biggest shows, and Taylor choosing to perform more concerts at Wembley Stadium than any other venue shows how iconic this place is.” The spokesperson added, “Her energy and positivity were infectious, and her fans brought a wave of color and generosity.”

Swift made history by surpassing Michael Jackson’s record of seven shows at the venue during his Bad tour in 1988. At her final show, Swift addressed the crowd, saying, “You just made me the first solo artist to ever play Wembley eight times in a single tour. We will never, ever be able to thank you enough for it.”

To mark the occasion, Swift surprised fans by inviting Bleachers’ lead vocalist Jack Antonoff on stage to perform “Death by a Thousand Cuts” and “Getaway Car.” British singer Florence Welch also joined Swift to sing their collaboration “Florida!!!” live for the first time.

Swift’s Eras Tour continues to captivate audiences worldwide, and her time at Wembley will certainly be remembered as a historic milestone.
