Country stars Morgan Wallen, Hardy, and Ernest took the stage at the 49th annual T.J. Martell Foundation gala in New York on Tuesday night, performing a heartfelt set to honor Big Loud partner and CEO Seth England.

The event, which raised an impressive $2.6 million for cancer research, marked the highest amount raised in over two decades.

The gala featured a “writers’ round” performance, a format showcasing each artist’s talents. Hardy kicked things off with his popular track “Truck Bed.” Wallen and Ernest then joined forces for their hit “Flower Shops.”

Wallen also performed his smash hit “Last Night” and introduced a new song, “Love Somebody,” which he had recently previewed on his European tour. The trio wrapped up their set with their chart-topping collaboration with Post Malone, “I Had Some Help,” though Post Malone was not present.

The evening was hosted by Steve Gawley, Chairman-Elect of the Board of Trustees for the T.J. Martell Foundation. The Gala Co-Chair committee included notable figures such as Ben Adelson, Tyler Arnold, Scott Borchetta, Tom Corson, Archie Davis, John Esposito, Clint Higham, Lynn-Anne Huck, Monte Lipman, Avery Lipman, Rakiyah Marshall, Debbie Martell, Joey Moi, Brian O’Connell, Andre Stapleton, Julie Swidler, Greg Thompson, Candice Watkins, and Craig Wiseman.

In his speech, Gawley praised England for his dedication and generosity. “When I asked Seth England to be this year’s Honoree, he didn’t hesitate, he didn’t need to check his schedule, he just said yes. That’s the kind of person Seth is,” said Gawley. “He truly cares and wanted to make the most impact.

Seth and his wife Rakiyah Marshall kicked off the campaign with a $250,000 donation. The Big Loud Team and the Martell Team also organized a successful kickoff breakfast in Nashville, raising over $1.1 million. Craig Wiseman later donated $300,000 to help exceed the $2 million goal.”

During his acceptance speech, England expressed his gratitude. “None of us would be here without the incredible work of the historic T.J. Martell Foundation,” he said. “This year, I’ve learned a lot about what this organization does—how it helps people and raises money for cancer research. Being part of this mission is an honor.”

England also highlighted the dedication of Wallen, Hardy, and Ernest, noting, “I like to remind people that what you do in this business is not who you are. Tonight, I’m proud of these three for showing up for me, for this foundation, and for cancer research.”

The T.J. Martell Foundation’s annual gala is its primary fundraiser, supporting its mission to cure cancer by funding high-risk, high-reward research. This research aims to advance early detection, screening, and treatments. For more information or to contribute, visit tjmartell.org.
