The creator of “Squid Game,” Hwang Dong-hyuk, shared that making the first season was so stressful that he lost “eight or nine” teeth.

In an interview with the BBC, Hwang explained that while he first said he lost six teeth, the actual number was higher.

The stress of creating the show was intense. At one point, Hwang decided he would not make a second season because of the toll it took on his health. But he later changed his mind. The main reason? Money.

Despite the huge success of the first season, Hwang admitted he didn’t make as much as people might think. He hopes that Season 2 will help him earn more and finish the story he started.

Season 2 of “Squid Game” will premiere on December 26 on Netflix. It continues the journey of Seong Gi-hun, known as Player 456. After winning the deadly games in Season 1, he returns to the competition.

This time, he wants to save other players and reveal the truth about the games. He tries to convince the participants to quit and end the cruel contest for good.

The first season of “Squid Game” was a massive hit. It became Netflix’s most-watched show at that time. Hwang said he feels even more pressure now as he works on Season 2.

He joked that while he hasn’t lost any more teeth yet, he might “have to pull out a few more very soon.”

Fans are excited to see what happens next in the new season. They are eager to find out what twists and surprises Hwang has planned.
