Reba McEntire Puts Michael Bublé in His Place in Playful Showdown on “The Voice”

Reba McEntire is making it clear who’s in charge on The Voice this season. During a recent episode on October 8, the country legend had a playful but tense exchange with fellow coach Michael Bublé, showing him that she’s the one to watch out for.

The fun interaction took place backstage, where Bublé, 49, was surprised by McEntire, 69, waiting for him in his dressing room. The room was completely dark, and as Bublé entered, McEntire dramatically flipped on the lights, startling him.

“How did you get in here?” the singer asked, clearly caught off guard.

Without missing a beat, McEntire shot back, “Don’t you worry about that.” She then took a more serious tone, saying, “You and I are going to have a little talk, and I’m going to tell you how things work around here.”

She slowly approached Bublé, who looked more and more concerned as she got closer. “You think because you’re the newbie, you sell millions of records and you’re a global superstar, you think you’re something special?” she asked with a teasing edge in her voice.

Bublé quickly shook his head, denying any such thoughts, while McEntire continued, “I run things around here. I’m gonna keep my eye on you, OK?”

Just as the tension seemed to build, fellow coach Gwen Stefani entered the room with a cheerful, “Is everything OK?” In a split second, McEntire’s demeanor completely changed. She smiled brightly and answered, “Yeah! We’re just talking about how much fun we’re having on The Voice. Right, Michael?”

Caught up in the moment, Bublé nervously nodded along, saying, “Yes, we’re having so much fun,” though his concerned expression said otherwise.

As soon as Stefani left, McEntire flipped back to her serious persona and leaned in to tell Bublé, “You better remember what I told you. I’ll be watching you.”

The exchange was a playful moment between the two stars, highlighting McEntire’s strong, fun-loving personality as she takes the lead this season. Fans of The Voice have come to appreciate McEntire’s down-to-earth attitude and sense of humor, and this backstage scene showed off both.

Bublé, a first-time coach on the show, has been adjusting to his new role among the The Voice veterans. While he may be new to the show, the Canadian crooner has no shortage of experience in the music industry, with millions of albums sold and legions of fans worldwide. However, as McEntire humorously pointed out, being a music superstar doesn’t necessarily give him an edge in this competition.

This season, McEntire is returning to The Voice for her third consecutive run as a coach, after securing her first win last season with contestant Asher HaVon. Her fellow coaches this time around include Stefani, also a seasoned veteran of the show, and rapper Snoop Dogg, another newcomer like Bublé.

The chemistry between the coaches this season has been a highlight for viewers, with McEntire’s leadership and playful jabs keeping everyone on their toes. While Bublé might be learning the ropes, he’s clearly in good company with McEntire keeping an eye on him every step of the way.

As the competition heats up, it’s moments like these that remind fans why they tune in week after week. With McEntire’s firm but fun-loving approach, it’s clear she’s not going to let anyone, including a global superstar like Bublé, forget who’s boss on The Voice this season.
