Noah Centineo is back as Peter Kavinsky, the lovable character from To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before! The second season of Netflix’s spinoff series XO, Kitty is coming soon, and fans are thrilled to see Peter make a surprise appearance in the new trailer.
In season 2, Kitty Song Covey (played by Anna Cathcart) returns to the Korea International School Seoul (KISS) for a fresh start. After all the drama from last season, Kitty is ready to focus on herself. She wants to learn more about her late mom and her family’s history, especially after finding a mysterious letter from her mother’s past.
Kitty also has a lot to figure out when it comes to her friendships and feelings. Last season, Min Ho (Sang Heon Lee) confessed he liked her, and Kitty also realized she had a crush on Yuri (Gia Kim). Now, Kitty is single and ready to explore who she is.
“Last semester ended with so much drama,” Kitty says in the trailer. “This semester, I have my priorities straight. I’m going to hit the books and finally discover who my mom really was. I’m ready to launch Kitty 2.0.”
As Kitty starts the new semester, she faces plenty of challenges. She wants to focus on school and uncover more about her mom, but navigating friendships and feelings isn’t easy. She also struggles with feeling like an outsider at KISS.
“When I came to KISS, I never felt more like an outsider,” she says in the trailer. But just when things seem tough, a familiar face shows up to cheer her on—Peter Kavinsky!
In the trailer, Peter surprises Kitty with a warm hug and some advice. Wearing his Stanford sweatshirt, Peter tells her, “You are Kitty Song freaking Covey, don’t you forget it.” His kind words give Kitty the boost she needs to tackle the challenges ahead.

It’s unclear why Peter is in Seoul, but Noah Centineo shared how much he enjoyed returning to the To All the Boys world. “Reuniting with Anna was amazing,” he told Tudum.com. “She’s so talented, and her hard work shows in every scene. Stepping back into this universe was a real joy, and I hope fans enjoy seeing Peter again as much as I did.”
Season 2 promises plenty of surprises, heartwarming moments, and personal growth for Kitty. With Peter’s encouragement and a fresh outlook, Kitty is ready to make the most of her new semester at KISS.
Get ready! XO, Kitty Season 2 premieres on Netflix on Thursday, January 16. Don’t miss it!
