Comedian Nikki Glaser has proven she is one of Taylor Swift’s biggest fans. The 40-year-old performer recently shared that she spent close to $100,000 attending 22 shows during Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour, which took place over the past two years.

In an interview with PEOPLE, Glaser explained that the money covered tickets, travel, hotel stays, merchandise, and even expenses for friends she brought along. Despite the high cost, Glaser said she has no regrets.

“It was all worth it,” she said. “I would have spent even more if I had to.”

Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour ended on December 8, 2024, in Canada. Over 21 months, the tour earned an incredible $2.1 billion in ticket sales, according to The New York Times. Glaser joked about her part in that number, saying, “I can see my money in there. That’s my contribution!”

This isn’t the first time Glaser talked about her love for Swift’s music. In 2023, she told The Kelly Clarkson Show that she had already spent $25,000 on nine shows. Since then, her spending has more than quadrupled.

“Taylor’s music brings me so much happiness,” Glaser said. “I’m in my late 30s, and I don’t have kids. If I did, I would be spending money on their activities. This is what I choose to spend on instead.”

Glaser explained that she feels good about her decision to spend so much on the Eras Tour. Since she chose not to have children, she uses the money she would have spent raising a family to do something she loves.

“People spend that much money on their kids for hockey or other activities,” she said. “So why can’t I spend it on Taylor Swift concerts?”

She also mentioned that some people criticize her for spending so much money on concerts, but she thinks it’s unfair. “No one gets mad at parents for spending money on their kids, but when I go to Taylor Swift concerts, people act like it’s a bad thing,” she said.

The Eras Tour not only brought joy to fans like Glaser but also showed how generous Taylor Swift is. Reports say that Swift gave $197 million in bonuses to people who worked on her tour, including truck drivers, caterers, dancers, and musicians.

Glaser has been a fan of Swift for many years. In 2020, she apologized to Swift after saying something negative about her, which was shown in the documentary Miss Americana. Swift accepted her apology, and Glaser has continued to admire her ever since.

Now, as Glaser gets ready to host the 2025 Golden Globes on January 5, she says she’s proud of the time and money she spent following Swift’s tour. “It makes me so happy,” she said.

The Eras Tour might be over, but for fans like Nikki Glaser, the memories will last forever.
