Netflix has unveiled the first full trailer for Season 2 of its hit teen drama My Life With the Walter Boys, and the streets of Silver Falls are already buzzing with anticipation.

The trailer opens on Jackie Howard (Nikki Rodriguez) riding into town, her face a portrait of determination and unease. After a summer away spent grappling with the fallout of her secret kiss with Cole Walter (Noah LaLonde), Jackie returns intent on repairing her strained bond with Alex Walter (Ashby Gentry), but finds “fitting back in isn’t that easy” when his focus has shifted to training for a high-stakes rodeo event.

As Alex hones his rodeo skills and basks in newfound attention, the trailer captures moments of icy standoff and awkward glances between him and Jackie, highlighting just how far the once-shy teen has come—and how much distance now stands between them.

Meanwhile, Cole struggles to redefine himself after football, taking on a leadership role at school that fails to fill the void, and prompting him to revert to old behaviors that threaten to upend his fragile progress.

Beyond the central love triangle, the Walter household is a hive of drama. Jackie’s quest to reclaim her Howard identity in a town that’s both home and hurdle is juxtaposed against glimpses of secondary storylines: Nathan (Corey Fogelmanis) tentatively explores new romance, much to Skylar’s (Jaylan Evans) chagrin, while family matriarch Katherine (Sarah Rafferty) and patriarch George (Marc Blucas) offer support laced with their own worries.

The trailer underscores that, in Silver Falls, every choice carries weight—and Jackie’s impending decision “could destroy everything she’s worked to rebuild”.

Season 2 of My Life With the Walter Boys—executive produced by showrunner Melanie Halsall alongside Ed Glauser and Becky Hartman Edwards—premieres Thursday, August 28, exclusively on Netflix.

Fans can expect ten new episodes that delve deeper into grief, identity, and the price of belonging, as Jackie strives to balance loyalty to her past with the complexities of the Walter family’s future.
