MGK calls himself a “cheerleader” for daughter Casie, 15, as they share a rare red carpet moment at the 2025 KCAs ahead of his live performance.
Machine Gun Kelly (MGK), 35, made a rare red carpet appearance with his 15-year-old daughter, Casie, at the 2025 Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on June 21.
The father-daughter duo turned heads—MGK in all-black and Casie in a light purple dress—before Casie proudly introduced her dad’s performance of his new single “Cliché” during the show.
In an interview with PEOPLE, Casie called MGK more of a “hype man” than a typical dad, saying he encourages her to always be herself. MGK echoed the sentiment, calling himself her “cheerleader.”
The event comes just months after MGK and his ex, Megan Fox, welcomed their daughter, Saga Blade, in March.
MGK shared that life with a newborn has been a big shift, noting that Megan is part of the “no sleep club,” while he contributes through music—recently writing a lullaby on the ukulele—and keeping the mood light.
Casie also opened up about becoming a big sister, calling it “so cute” and saying she already loves the experience.
The outing follows the pair’s hug outside MGK’s Today Show concert the day prior. The duo has previously appeared at the KCAs in 2017 and 2019, and the 2021 American Music Awards.
MGK’s upcoming album, Lost Americana, drops August 8. He describes it as a “happy project in a very dark time” and hopes it spreads through word of mouth, saying, “Good music goes a long way.”
