It’s a Christmas miracle for Mariah Carey fans! The iconic singer, known as the “Queen of Christmas,” has announced that she will perform the final show of her annual Christmas tour after canceling three earlier performances due to illness.

In an Instagram post on Monday, Carey, 55, expressed her excitement for her upcoming performance at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center on Dec. 17. “Lambs, thank you for making my #Christmastime so special ❤️ I’ve loved singing with you every night, and I can’t wait to see you all tomorrow in Brooklyn for the show of the tour,” she wrote.

Carey’s return to the stage comes after a bout with the flu that forced her to cancel three shows earlier this month. On Dec. 11, she announced on X (formerly Twitter) that she was too sick to perform in Pittsburgh, writing, “Pittsburgh, I am sorry to say, I’ve come down with the flu. It breaks my heart that I unfortunately have to cancel tonight’s show. I love you all so much.” Fans were refunded for their tickets.

Despite her hopes of recovering quickly, Carey shared two days later that she was “still sick” and had to cancel performances at the Prudential Center in Newark, N.J., and UBS Arena in Belmont Park, N.Y. “I’m really devastated about it and appreciate your support. Love, MC, 💔,” she wrote to fans.

Carey’s upbeat attitude shined through when she shared a playful post over the weekend about her recovery. “Christmas Time Is In The Air Again ❤️🎄(and so are the germs that got me sick, but let’s stay positive!),” she joked.

The superstar announced her Christmas Time tour back in August. In an interview with PEOPLE, Carey said she had been hard at work preparing something special for her fans. “I worked with some incredible people on this, like Miss Debbie Allen. I’ll be doing songs I’ve never done before, some duets. I’ve got to keep some surprises,” she teased.

While Carey has been battling illness, her Christmas classic, “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” continues to dominate the charts. On Monday, Billboard revealed that the beloved holiday hit topped the charts for the 16th time, tying Carey’s other record-breaking song, “One Sweet Day.”

The singer celebrated the milestone on Instagram Stories, calling it the “Best news to wake up to as I prepare for the last show of the tour tomorrow!!!! ❤️🎄🎁🎉❄️🦌✨.”

Carey’s return to the stage in Brooklyn will mark a joyful end to her holiday tour and a special treat for fans who look forward to her annual performances. Her resilience and holiday spirit have only solidified her title as the “Queen of Christmas.”
