The striking change, styled by Dimitris Giannetos with Nexxus Haircare products, was revealed in an Instagram post on Wednesday, November 27.
“Yoooo this is amazing!!! 🔥🔥🔥,” her brother Dakota Lohan commented, summing up the excitement around her fresh look.
For the shoot, Lohan wore a sleek, sleeveless white maxi dress by JordanLuca, posing against a white background to make her vibrant hair pop. Her makeup was simple and natural, with short nude-polished nails adding to her understated glam. Her eyebrows, darker than usual, perfectly complemented her hair’s bold green shade, which flowed elegantly down to her waist.
In another shot, Lohan returned to her classic red hair. She posed in a chic black jacket and sunglasses by Courrèges, with a butterfly resting on the edge of her glasses. The whimsical touch made the photo even more eye-catching. She also sported a more casual look in pieces by Acne Studios and RE/DONE, completing her outfits with her own jewelry.
During her interview with Flaunt, Lohan opened up about her Netflix holiday movie Our Little Secret. In the romantic comedy, she plays Avery, a successful marketing executive navigating unexpected twists in her personal life.
“With Avery, she purposefully left everything that she grew up with,” Lohan explained. “She’s been away and had time to find herself.”
The story takes a dramatic turn when Avery attends a family holiday gathering with her boyfriend Cameron (played by Jon Rudnitsky). Things get complicated when his sister Cassie (Katie Baker) shows up with her new boyfriend, who happens to be Logan (Ian Harding) — Avery’s childhood best friend and first love.
“She comes back with an idea of what she thinks will be right for her,” Lohan shared. “She thinks she wants this perfect life with the whole family and everything. And, you know, maybe she’s not right.”
For Lohan, the movie’s message is about embracing life’s unexpected challenges. “Sometimes things go wrong for a reason,” she said. Avery’s journey of self-discovery mirrors her own.
