According to NBC News, Cabot submitted a petition for divorce in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, on August 13. The case is ongoing, with the next court hearing scheduled for November 26. Attorneys for both parties have not provided comment.
The filing comes just weeks after Cabot and Byron became the unexpected center of a media firestorm. On July 16, while attending Coldplay’s show in Foxboro, Massachusetts, the pair was caught on the stadium’s kiss cam. Instead of playing along, Cabot quickly covered her face while Byron ducked down.
Their reaction sparked laughter from lead singer Chris Martin, who teased that they might be having an “affair.”
