Karsen Liotta, daughter of the late actor Ray Liotta, shared heartfelt memories of her father, two years after his death.

Speaking at the Los Angeles premiere of her dad’s film “1992” on August 27, Karsen, 25, reflected on their close relationship and how she continues to honor his memory. Ray Liotta passed away in 2022 at the age of 67.

Describing her father as “my best friend,” Karsen expressed how much he meant to her. “He was the best, the most trustworthy, ride or die, always had my back, no matter what, most loyal, funniest, most kind-hearted person,” she said. “Especially as a father, as a friend, brother, son.”

To keep his legacy alive, Karsen often talks about her dad and enjoys watching his old movies. “I don’t sit around and talk about him, but if somebody asks me a question, I’ll answer,” she shared. “I do that fairly often, but seeing old pictures of us, talking about him, thinking about him.

There’s only so much I can do. Even just reminiscing and laughing about certain jokes we had and things like that.”

Karsen also mentioned a unique way her father stays present in her life—through feathers. “He always had a thing about feathers, and I’ve randomly seen feathers, especially in our home,” she explained.

Looking ahead to the 2024 release of Ray’s film “1992,” Karsen spoke about how much the project meant to her dad. She described the film as “an incredible piece of history” and emphasized how honored Ray was to be part of it. “I think he would be very, very honored to be here,” she added.

As she continues to remember and celebrate her father’s life, Karsen cherishes the memories they made together and the impact he had on her and others.
