Justin Bieber is set to release his surprise seventh album on July 11, featuring Gunna, Sexyy Red, and Cash Cobain, after a creative retreat in Iceland.

Justin Bieber is gearing up to drop his seventh studio album this Friday, July 11, via Def Jam Recordings.
This marks his first full-length release since 2021’s Justice, and insiders say the pop superstar took an unconventional route to finish it.
In late April, Bieber decamped to Iceland, where a series of intimate jam sessions and scenic “vibe out” moments helped him put the final touches on the project.
While Bieber’s team has remained tight-lipped—neither his representative nor Def Jam would comment—the buzz has been hard to miss.
A striking new billboard in Reykjavik featuring Bieber’s image alongside the single word “Swag” has gone viral online, and a matching display has since appeared in Los Angeles.
Justin Bieber has officially confirmed on Instagram.
Back in Los Angeles, Bieber’s creative process continued at home, where he’s hosted frequent sessions with a close-knit circle of collaborators.
Attendees have included his longtime DJ Tay James, musical director HARV, SZA collaborator Carter Lang, and up-and-coming Australian talent Eddie Benjamin.
Beyond familiar faces, Bieber’s latest album also spotlights a handful of high-profile features—Gunna, Sexyy Red and Cash Cobain—artists he’s given shout-outs to on social media in recent months.
In addition to these guest spots, Bieber reached out to emerging songwriters and producers.
U.K. singer-songwriter Sekou and producer Dylan Wiggins—known for his work on Kali Uchis’ “I Wish You Roses” and The Weeknd’s “Die For You”—both contributed, while other lesser-known talents discovered via Instagram DMs also made the cut.
The upcoming release arrives amid major life changes for Bieber. Last year, he and wife Hailey Bieber welcomed their first child.
In 2023, he also parted ways with Scooter Braun, his longtime manager.

The pair recently resolved a substantial debt stemming from Bieber’s canceled 2022 Justice tour—a fallout that left him owing more than $20 million to promoter AEG, an obligation Braun’s company ultimately helped settle.
Braun has since stepped down as CEO of Hybe America but remains intertwined with Bieber’s career through various business ventures, including a lucrative catalog deal with Recognition Music.
With a blend of established stars, fresh faces and a creative reset in Iceland, Bieber’s seventh album is poised to mark a bold new chapter in his evolution as an artist.
Fans will finally get to experience the full project this Friday, July 11.
