Jennifer Lopez turned heads at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept. 6, attending the premiere of her new movie Unstoppable. This event marked her first major appearance since her split from Ben Affleck, which was confirmed on Aug. 20 after two years of marriage.

Lopez, 55, wowed the crowd in a striking silver dress designed by Tamara Ralph. The floor-length gown featured daring high splits on both sides, held together by oversized black velvet bows, giving a bold glimpse of her side. She completed her look with a metallic Judith Leiber clutch, platform heels by Dolce and Gabbana, and jewelry from Hassanzadeh. Her straight, middle-parted hairstyle kept the focus on her outfit.

Lopez shared more shots of her red-carpet look on Instagram, showing off the dress in a series of poses.

The film Unstoppable tells the inspiring true story of wrestler Anthony Robles, who was born with one leg and became a national NCAA champion in 2011. Lopez plays the role of Anthony’s mother, Judy, and also co-produced the film with her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, and Matt Damon under their company, Artists Equity. Affleck, 52, did not attend the premiere.

Since their split, both Lopez and Affleck have remained out of the spotlight. According to sources, their 2022 marriage didn’t include a prenuptial agreement, which could lead to a complicated divorce process. One insider shared that Lopez is “heartbroken” but remains focused on her children.
