Donald Trump is once again stirring up controversy — this time over housing. His administration is reportedly considering a proposal that would limit Section 8 housing benefits to just two years of eligibility, a move that could impact more than 1.4 million working families with children, according to New York University estimates.

Wu-Tang Clan legend Ghostface Killah isn’t here for it. TMZ Hip Hop caught up with him in New York City, where he opened up about how dangerous the change could be. Growing up in Staten Island’s Stapleton Houses projects, Ghost knows firsthand how tough it can be to survive in public housing.

“It’s not easy making project housing ends meet,” he said, warning that the two-year cap would only make things worse for struggling families.

But Ghostface also kept it real about the political side of things. On his new album, “Supreme Clientele 2” — a sequel to his 1999 classic — he kicks off the track “Iron Man” with lines calling out politics, including both Democrats and Trump.

When asked about the president’s plan, he shrugged and told TMZ: “The American people got what they voted for.”

That doesn’t mean he’s siding with Trump — in fact, Wu-Tang’s philosophy has always been about lifting up kids and communities. As he put it, “Wu-Tang is for the children — and the American people.”

The rapper also cleared the air about an old beef with Diddy, after previously suggesting that Wu-Tang Clan had been blocked from radio play in favor of Bad Boy Records. Ghost says there’s no bad blood anymore: “Everything is good in the hood with them now.”

Whether or not Trump’s Section 8 shake-up goes through, Ghostface is focused on the music — and the message. With Nas’ Mass Appeal backing the Wu revolution, he’s making sure his voice is heard on the issues that matter most.
