Sylvester Stallone’s ‘Tulsa King’ Renewed for Season 4 as Season 3 Premieres with New Enemies and a Samuel L. Jackson Spinoff

Sylvester Stallone is keeping his crown in Tulsa. Paramount+ has officially renewed Tulsa King for a fourth season, just ahead of the highly anticipated Season 3 premiere on Sunday, September 21.
The news isn’t much of a surprise. Taylor Sheridan’s mob dramedy has become one of Paramount+’s biggest hits, with last year’s Season 2 premiere pulling in a record-breaking 21.1 million global viewers. That milestone cemented Tulsa King as the streamer’s most-watched original series and proved Stallone’s pull as both a Hollywood icon and small-screen star.
In Season 3, Stallone returns as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, a New York mobster building a criminal empire in Oklahoma after a long prison stint. But with more power comes more danger. This time around, Dwight faces his most dangerous adversaries yet: the Dunmires, a wealthy old-money family that doesn’t play by traditional mob rules.
Robert Patrick joins the cast as the Dunmire patriarch, a liquor business tycoon with deep pockets and even deeper connections.
The season’s cast is stacked with returning favorites and fresh faces, including Martin Starr, Jay Will, Annabella Sciorra, Neal McDonough, Bella Heathcote, Frank Grillo, Garrett Hedlund, and Dana Delany. Together, they promise a mix of grit, drama, and humor that fans have come to love.
But that’s not all. The Tulsa King universe is expanding with a brand-new spinoff. NOLA King, starring Samuel L. Jackson, is currently in the works. Jackson’s character, Russell Lee Washington Jr., will make his first appearance in Tulsa King Season 3 before leading his own story in New Orleans.
Behind the scenes, the series continues to be a Sheridan-verse powerhouse, with showrunner Dave Erickson joined by Sheridan, Stallone, and executive producers David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, Sheri Elwood, Ildy Modrovich, and more.
With early renewal news, a star-studded cast, and a spinoff already on the horizon, Tulsa King shows no signs of slowing down.
Stallone may have conquered the big screen for decades, but in Tulsa, he’s proving he’s just as unstoppable on TV.
