Zach Bryan and Gavin Adcock Clash at Oklahoma Festival: Country Stars’ Feud Gets Heated

Looks like Oklahoma wasn’t big enough for both of them.
Country music stars Zach Bryan and Gavin Adcock found themselves face-to-face in a tense altercation at the Born & Raised Festival in Pryor, Okla., on Saturday, escalating their simmering feud into a near brawl.
A video shared by Adcock on Instagram shows the two men yelling at each other through a chain-link fence topped with barbed wire. At one point, Bryan can be heard shouting, “Hey, you want to fight like a man?” before asking for the gate to be opened. Other clips show the Grammy-winning singer climbing over the fence while security rushed in to keep things from boiling over.
Adcock didn’t let the moment pass quietly. He captioned his post with claims that Bryan had made “death threats” during the spat, cheekily adding, “Eat a Snickers bro.” Later that day, he appeared to throw another jab at Bryan while autographing a cowboy hat.
The Oklahoma showdown didn’t come out of nowhere. The tension between Bryan, 29, and Adcock, 26, has been building since July, when Adcock slammed Bryan for being “thin-skinned” after allegedly skipping a meet-and-greet with fans.
He later doubled down during an interview on Rolling Stone’s Nashville Now, saying, “I think Zach Bryan puts on a big mask in his day-to-day life… I don’t know if Zach Bryan’s really that great of a person.”
Adcock, who has 725,000 Instagram followers and dropped his album Own Worst Enemy in August, is no stranger to controversy. Just a few months ago, he drew fire for taking aim at Beyoncé’s Grammy-winning country album, Cowboy Carter, telling a festival crowd, “That s— ain’t country music, and it ain’t never gonna be country music.”
Meanwhile, Bryan — with 4.9 million followers and a reputation as country music’s reluctant star — continues to ride high off the success of his self-titled 2023 album. The Navy veteran turned singer-songwriter has often been praised for his raw storytelling but has also gained a reputation for being outspoken online.
Clips of the altercation quickly made the rounds on TikTok and X (formerly Twitter), with fans debating who was in the right. Some called Bryan’s fence climb “legendary,” while others accused both men of acting childish.
“Never thought I’d see Zach Bryan hopping a barbed-wire fence like he’s in WWE,” one fan joked on X. Another wrote, “Adcock loves drama more than music at this point.”
Neither artist’s reps have commented, but one thing’s clear: this feud isn’t cooling off anytime soon.
