Authorities uncover chilling details after a woman’s remains were found in a Tesla registered to singer D4vd.
Los Angeles investigators are uncovering more details about the grisly discovery inside a Tesla linked to rising music star D4vd.
On Monday, police made a shocking find at a Hollywood impound lot: human remains stuffed inside a bag in the trunk of the abandoned car. The Tesla, which had been towed from the Hollywood Hills, was never reported stolen and is officially registered to 19-year-old singer-songwriter D4vd.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner released an update Tuesday night, confirming the victim is a female. According to the report, she stood about 5 feet 1 inch tall, weighed 71 pounds, and had wavy black hair. A distinct tattoo on her right index finger reads “Shhh…”—a detail detectives hope could help in identifying her.
When the body was discovered, the woman was dressed in a tube top and black leggings, along with two pieces of jewelry: a stud earring and a chain bracelet shaped like the letter “W.” Despite these details, the coroner has not yet determined her exact age or cause of death due to the advanced state of decomposition.
Authorities are treating the case as a homicide. The remains were described as badly decomposed and even chopped up, underscoring the disturbing nature of the crime.
Meanwhile, D4vd—known for hits like “Romantic Homicide” and currently touring—was in Minneapolis performing at the Fillmore on the night of the update. Sources say the LAPD contacted him about the discovery, and he is fully cooperating with the investigation.
