Tracy Morgan is officially back on TV with a fresh comedy that’s bound to get fans talking. Paramount+ just announced that Crutch, Morgan’s brand-new original series, will premiere on November 3—and all eight episodes will be available to stream the same day.

The show centers around Francois “Frank” Crutchfield, better known as “Crutch,” played by Morgan. He’s described as a bold, brash, but lovable Harlem shop owner whose world flips upside down when his polished son and free-spirited daughter move back into the family home. That setup alone promises a perfect mix of family chaos and heartfelt laughs.

Adding a fun twist, Crutch will live in the same universe as CBS’ long-running sitcom The Neighborhood. To celebrate the launch, Morgan will guest star as Crutch in a brand-new episode of The Neighborhood, airing the very same night the series premieres on Paramount+.

Fans who miss it live on CBS can catch it the next day on the streamer.

Morgan isn’t stepping into this project alone. The cast includes Jermaine Fowler (Superior Donuts), Kecia Lewis (Hell’s Kitchen), Adrianna Mitchell (Snowfall), Adrian Martinez (The Amateur), Braxton Paul (Sesame Street), and Finn Maloney (Suncoast).

Together, the ensemble is set to bring Harlem’s Crutchfield household to life with plenty of personality and humor.

Behind the camera, comedy veteran Cedric The Entertainer is one of the driving forces behind Crutch. His company, A Bird and a Bear Entertainment, is producing the series, with Cedric and Eric C. Rhone serving as executive producers. Creator Owen Smith will also act as showrunner and executive producer, while Aaron Kaplan (Kapital Entertainment), Wendi Trilling (TrillTV), Mike Mariano, and Morgan himself round out the powerhouse production team.

Produced by CBS Studios and distributed internationally by Paramount Global Content Distribution, Crutch is shaping up to be a major fall comedy event. Between Morgan’s signature comedic style, Cedric’s production magic, and the crossover with The Neighborhood, fans can expect plenty of laughs and maybe even a few heartfelt moments.

Mark your calendars for November 3—because Crutch is coming in strong.
