Snow Tha Product Throws Shade at Tíos and Tías Who Backed Trump in New Video

Snow Tha Product is not holding back in her new music video for “Sábado”—and she’s taking direct aim at her own family members who voted for Donald Trump.
The Mexican American rapper, 38, turns what looks like a chill carne asada into a full-on political roast. In the video, she shades her tías and tíos who mocked her sexuality but “act gayer” when drunk, calls out a cousin who casually uses the N-word, and drags relatives she labels “no-sabo” for not speaking Spanish.
She even takes shots at family members who marry white partners just to have lighter-skinned, blue-eyed kids.
One of her sharpest lines comes in the second verse: “I like my brown skin. F** you foos. Do you watch history or watch the news?”*
Her message lands at a time when Trump has gained more support among Latino voters than in 2020. A Pew Research Center study found Trump reached 48% of the Hispanic vote in 2024, compared to 36% in 2020.
Snow argues this shift shows hypocrisy and a lack of awareness of the harm Trump’s policies have caused immigrant communities.
This isn’t new territory for Snow. She’s built her career on tackling issues of immigration, racism, and machismo in Latino culture. In past songs like “How I Do It,” she’s called out stereotypes and demanded respect for immigrant workers.
Offstage, she’s been spotted at protests, volunteering during community crises, and using her platform to amplify immigrant rights.
But not everyone is cheering her latest video. Some fans slammed a controversial scene where party guests beat up a piñata shaped like an ICE agent.
Snow’s response? On Instagram she posted: “tell ‘em to cry about it.”
For Snow Tha Product, the backlash doesn’t seem to matter. She’s made it clear she’ll keep calling out hypocrisy in her community and beyond, even if it costs her industry recognition.
As she’s rapped before, she’s less focused on being a “legend” and more on making sure her voice pushes for change—loud, raw, and unapologetic.
