“Love Island USA” Season 7 smashes Peacock records with 18.4 billion streaming minutes, a record mobile audience, 49% new fans, and massive social media buzz.

Season 7 of Love Island USA has shattered Peacock’s streaming records, amassing 18.4 billion minutes viewed, making it the platform’s most-watched original series ever.
According to Nielsen’s Top Streaming Programs for the week of June 23–29, 2025, Love Island USA ranked No. 2 overall, trailing only Netflix’s Squid Game.
Nearly half of Season 7’s viewers—49%—were tuning into the Love Island franchise for the first time, underscoring its growing appeal beyond longtime fans. Mobile viewing also hit new highs: 30% of total minutes were streamed on phones and tablets.
The show’s digital footprint extended far beyond Peacock. Across Instagram, Facebook, X and YouTube, it generated 2.2 billion social impressions, while TikTok alone accounted for 1.7 billion video views and impressions—a 127% increase over Season 6.
Expanding the universe, Peacock launched the docuseries Love Island: Beyond the Villa alongside the main show’s finale. Its premiere drew the largest audience ever for an unscripted original on the platform.
Season 7 wrapped on July 13, 2025, when bombshell couple Amaya Espinal and Bryan Arenales took home the $100,000 prize. Fans can look forward to a reunion show slated for August 25, 2025.
Following the UK format, the American Islanders spent 32 days in a luxury villa in Fiji, facing weekly twists, challenges and recouplings in pursuit of love—and a cash prize. The series is produced by ITV America and hosted by Ariana Madix, with narration by Iain Stirling.
With its mix of real-time audience participation, social-media buzz, and nonstop island drama, Love Island USA Season 7 has proven to be not just a hit reality show, but a cultural phenomenon that continues to redefine how audiences watch—and engage with—unscripted television.
