Taylor Rousseau Grigg, a well-known TikTok star, has died at the age of 25, her husband Cameron Grigg confirmed in a heartfelt Instagram post on Saturday, October 5.

Cameron revealed that her death was sudden and unexpected, and that she remains in the hospital for organ donation.

In his emotional post, Cameron expressed his devastation over losing Taylor, writing, “No one ever expects to have to deal with this kind of pain and heartache, especially at our age.” He shared that Taylor had faced more challenges in the past year than most people do in a lifetime, yet despite her pain and suffering, she continued to bring joy to those around her.

“She still has been such a light,” Cameron wrote. “She was the most brave and strong woman I know, and her faith carried her through even her darkest moments.”

Cameron explained that Taylor’s strength and resilience impacted not only his life but also many others, saying, “I know she’s saved my life and so many others out there.”

He shared that although Taylor’s body was still being kept alive by machines to preserve her organs for donation, she would have wanted her legacy to include saving lives even after her death.

“More than anything Taylor would want to know that she’s continuing to save people’s lives even after she’s gone from this world,” Cameron continued. He added that although her earthly body may have failed, her memory and the impact she made would live on forever.

In his post, Cameron also touched on the couple’s financial difficulties, explaining that they were unprepared for this sudden loss. “We don’t have anything financially in order,” he said, revealing that Taylor’s ongoing health struggles had affected their financial situation, and that they did not have insurance.

A GoFundMe page was set up by a friend to help support Cameron and cover funeral and medical expenses. Cameron thanked their followers for their support, writing, “I love y’all. Taylor loves y’all. Thank you for all the support and kind words during this time.”

The GoFundMe page mentioned that a benefit is being organized to honor Taylor, with the message: “It is with our deepest condolences that we acknowledge the passing of Taylor.” The family also asked for privacy and respect as they process this difficult time.

Taylor’s death came just a month after she celebrated her 25th birthday. In a TikTok video posted on September 9, Taylor shared a glimpse of her birthday celebrations, showing herself enjoying a birthday brunch with Cameron and shopping at a local Target.

Cameron’s post emphasized how much Taylor meant to him and to everyone who followed her on social media. “Her social media family was a huge blessing in her life, and we cannot thank you all enough for the love and support that you have brought her,” the GoFundMe message read.

Taylor’s passing has left her followers, friends, and family in shock, with many expressing their grief and sending condolences to Cameron and her loved ones. For now, Cameron’s focus remains on honoring Taylor’s memory and carrying out her wishes, including her desire to help others even in death through organ donation.

While the details of Taylor’s health challenges remain private, it is clear that she made a lasting impact on her community, both online and in her personal life. Her legacy of kindness, strength, and faith will not be forgotten.
