Voight’s Intelligence Unit is getting a fresh face. Arienne Mandi has been tapped as a new series regular for Season 13 of “Chicago P.D.,” stepping in after Toya Turner’s surprising departure.

Mandi arrives with an impressive résumé: most recently, she played Noor Taheri in Season 2 of Netflix’s hit thriller “The Night Agent,” and she stars in Guy Nattiv’s festival darling “Tatami,” which bowed at Venice. Fans of “The L Word: Generation Q” also know her as lead Dani Núñez, and she even popped up in “FBI” back in 2025—marking her first foray into the Dick Wolf universe.

On top of that, Mandi is gearing up for Season 2 of Apple TV+’s comedy-drama “Your Friends & Neighbors.” Behind the scenes, she’s represented by Greene Talent, Rikki Dale Management, and Myman Greenspan Fox, signaling that this new role on “Chicago P.D.” is a strategic next step in a career that’s already showing serious momentum.

Her casting news comes hot on the heels of Toya Turner’s announcement that she won’t return for Season 13. Turner, who brought Kiana to life last season, shared a heartfelt farewell via Instagram in June.

“My time on Chicago P.D. has come to a close,” she wrote. “This show challenged me, sharpened me, and revealed what I’m made of. I’ve evolved through this experience… To the cast and crew: thank you for the warmth, the laughter, and the generosity you brought every day.

And to the ChiHards: thank you for welcoming me, rooting for me, and showing Kiana love.” Turner’s exit leaves a gap in the squad, but with Mandi on board, producers seem confident the unit’s dynamic will stay strong.

“Chicago P.D.,” produced by Universal Television and Wolf Entertainment, boasts an executive team led by franchise mastermind Dick Wolf along with Gwen Sigan, Chad Saxton, Gavin Harris, Jason Beghe, and Peter Jankowski.

As Season 13 gears up, viewers can look forward to seeing how Mandi’s character fits into the high-stakes world of the Intelligence Unit—and whether she can fill the sizable shoes left by Kiana.

Stay tuned when the new season premieres later this year, and get ready for more action, drama, and unexpected twists in the Windy City.
