Zoë Kravitz and Channing Tatum, one of Hollywood’s favorite couples, turned heads at the Los Angeles premiere of their latest film, Blink Twice.

The event marked a significant moment for Kravitz, who not only stars in the film but also makes her directorial debut with this project. The couple, who have been engaged since October 2023, looked stunning in coordinated all-black ensembles that showcased their sophisticated style.

Kravitz, 35, was the star of the evening, not just for her work behind the camera but also for her striking fashion choice. She donned a sleek, black silk gown that turned heads on the red carpet.

The backless dress, designed by Saint Laurent’s Anthony Vaccarello, featured triangle-shaped cutouts at the waist, adding a modern twist to the classic silhouette. The sleeveless gown was further accentuated by a silk satin bow and a ruching effect at the midpoint of her waist, which fanned out elegantly on the skirt.

To complete her look, Kravitz chose Raven slingback pumps made of satin crepe, adding a touch of sophistication to her ensemble. She kept her accessories minimal, opting for a few rings and a pair of dangle drop earrings adorned with star charms.

Her makeup was equally understated, with a deep red lipstick and soft pink eyeshadow that complemented her slicked-back bun.

By Kravitz’s side, Channing Tatum, 44, kept his look classic and refined. He wore a black suit paired with a crisp white button-down shirt, a white pocket square, and black leather loafers.

Tatum’s simple yet elegant outfit perfectly complemented Kravitz’s more intricate gown, making them a stylish and coordinated couple on the red carpet.

The couple’s appearance at the premiere was a highlight for fans, especially since their relationship has been in the public eye since their engagement last year. They have been seen together frequently, supporting each other at various events.

Just a month before the Blink Twice premiere, they were spotted at the New York City premiere of Fly Me to the Moon, where Tatum stars. The two were seen holding hands, with Tatum slowing down to wait for Kravitz, a moment that was captured and shared widely on social media.

Blink Twice, which features a star-studded cast including Naomi Ackie, Adria Arjona, Haley Joel Osment, and Alia Shawkat, has been a significant project for Kravitz. Originally titled Pussy Island, the film’s name was changed ahead of its release due to concerns about the previous title.

Kravitz explained in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that the title change was necessary after facing several roadblocks, including resistance from the MPAA and theaters unwilling to display the original name.

“There were a lot of roadblocks along the way,” Kravitz shared, “whether it be the MPAA not wanting to put it on a poster, or a billboard, or a kiosk; movie theaters not wanting to put it on a ticket.”

Interestingly, the original title also seemed to deter potential female viewers. Kravitz discovered that many women were uncomfortable with the word “p—y” and were reluctant to see a film with that title. “Women seeing the title were saying, ‘I don’t want to see that movie,’ which is part of the reason I wanted to try and use the word,” Kravitz said. However, she acknowledged that society might not be ready to embrace the term in the way she had hoped. “But we’re not there yet,” she added, emphasizing her responsibility as a filmmaker to consider the audience’s feelings.

Despite the challenges, Kravitz is passionate about the project and proud of the final product. Tatum, who was cast in the film in 2021, has been a vocal supporter of Kravitz’s vision from the beginning. Earlier this year, he shared his excitement on Instagram, posting photos of Kravitz at work and praising her dedication to the film.

“MISS DIRECTOR LADY HERSELF IN ACTION!! ABSOLUTELY CRUSHING IT,” Tatum wrote in an all-caps caption, expressing his admiration for Kravitz’s work. “CAN’T WAIT FOR YALL TO SEE,” he added, highlighting how much the project means to both of them.

With Blink Twice set to hit theaters on August 23, fans are eagerly awaiting the chance to see Kravitz’s directorial debut. The film, which has already generated significant buzz due to its intriguing premise and talented cast, is expected to be a major milestone in Kravitz’s career.

As Kravitz and Tatum continue to support each other both personally and professionally, their relationship remains a favorite among fans. Their appearance at the Blink Twice premiere was not just a celebration of the film but also a testament to their strong partnership. With their wedding on the horizon and both of their careers thriving, it’s clear that this Hollywood power couple is only just beginning to make their mark.
