Kenya Moore Apologizes for Controversial RHOA Exit, Takes Full Responsibility for Her Actions

Kenya Moore, a former star of Real Housewives of Atlanta, recently talked about why she left the show. In an interview on November 14, she said she was sorry for what happened and took full responsibility for her actions.

In June, Kenya was accused of showing inappropriate photos of her co-star, Brittany Eady, during filming. The photos showed Brittany in a private situation. Kenya showed them at the opening of her Kenya Moore Hair Spa on June 6. Brittany was not at the event when the photos were shown. Because of this, Kenya was suspended from the show.

Kenya said that if she could go back, she would not have shown the photos. She called it a mistake. “I didn’t have to take it that far,” she said. She explained that she acted out of a need to protect herself and her daughter, Brooklyn. “I’ve never had a child in a situation like this before,” she added.

Some people said Kenya showed the photos because she felt threatened by Brittany. They said Brittany used the word “gun” in a way that made Kenya feel unsafe. But other people said there was no weapon involved. The situation might have been misunderstood.

In June, it was announced that Kenya would not return to Real Housewives of Atlanta after her suspension. She is still under contract with the network, but she is not filming the show anymore. Kenya shared that Andy Cohen, the head of Housewives, has been a big support to her. He called her, checked on her, and gave her advice. She thanked him for being a good friend.

Now that she is not on the show, Kenya is focusing on new projects. One of them is a children’s book called Brooklyn Bound: Paris, which she co-wrote with her 6-year-old daughter, Brooklyn. Kenya said she is proud of the book and what it means for her daughter’s future. “Part of being a mother is giving your child the opportunities you never had,” she explained.

For Kenya, being a mother to Brooklyn is the most important thing in her life. “Forget about life’s challenges. We will all overcome them,” she said. “This is what my life was supposed to be like. I don’t know what it would be like without her.”
